What it does
Hypit is an add-on for AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or Codex. You give the assistant a short video or a description, and it builds an editable recipe with captions, clips and effects, then renders the finished video, including many variants at once. It is aimed at people making social ads, short clips and talking-head videos. You need Node.js, a coding assistant account, a terminal, and usually paid AI image, voice and video services. The README shows example videos costing about $1 each in service fees.

There is no installer: you run `npx skills add hypit-ai/hypit -g` in a terminal, need Node.js 22.15+, a coding assistant, and the assistant then sets up the Hypit program and media tools.
