Taste Skill

What it does
One skill you install inside a coding agent (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and others). When you ask for a landing page, a dashboard or an app screen, it gives the agent an art direction drawn from a study of 247 sites, finds real photographs in open collections and credits them, then opens the page in a real browser at three widths and fixes the worst problems. For people who already use a coding agent and want pages that do not look generic. It needs Node 22 or newer, Chrome, Edge or Chromium, and internet access to find pictures.
How easy it is to install
C · install 1 or 2 tools · Windows

C on Windows, Mac and Linux: there is nothing to download from the releases, but you need a coding agent already set up, Node 22 or newer and Chrome, Edge or Chromium, and then one command (`npx skills add ...`) or two lines inside Claude Code. The alternative `./install.sh` route needs bash, which on Windows means Git Bash or WSL.

- Cost
- Free, API costs extra · The skill is MIT and asks for no API key of its own, but it only works inside a coding agent you pay for. The README says one build takes "roughly 30 to 45 minutes and a few hundred thousand tokens". The author also takes GitHub sponsorships.

Risk signals (5)
- Attentioneach build burns a lot of model tokens
README, "How v2 works": "A build takes roughly 30 to 45 minutes and a few hundred thousand tokens." That is billed by whatever agent or model you run it with, not by this project.
AI review
- Infopaid referral link in the readme
The "Open Source Supporters" table links to `https://platform.kimi.ai?track_id=track-20f0d64bcaba419bb425a3e8c306f65d&aff=taste-skill` with the text "Get a Kimi API key" and "taste-skill users get 10% bonus API credits", so the author earns from that referral.
AI review
- Infopages come with third party photos under share alike licences
README: pictures come from "Wikimedia Commons, Openverse and the Met", "Only public domain, CC0, CC BY and CC BY-SA files are offered, and the skill puts the credits on the page." CC BY and CC BY-SA keep legal conditions attached to anything you publish, so check the credits before using a page commercially.

- Infoauthor warns about fake tokens using the project name
README footer: "Taste Skill has no official token, coin, or crypto project. Any token using my name, image, or project is unaffiliated and not endorsed by me."

What Radar could not check
- Whether the pages it builds look like the examples in the README, since those were chosen by the author.
- What one build really costs in tokens on your own model and plan.
- Whether the licence and credit of every photo it picks is correct, and whether a published page meets the licence terms.
- Which sites and image archives the scripts contact while running, and what they send.
- Whether the skill installs and loads correctly in each listed agent (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and the rest).
