Free alternatives to Gamma
2 free programs that can replace Gamma, each pairing checked by Radar's AI reviewer or by Radar.
Gamma is an online tool for making presentations, documents and simple web pages, with an AI assistant that drafts the layout and text from a short brief. Marketers, founders, teachers and students use it to get a first version quickly. It is a web service with an account, so your content is stored on the service.
Before switching, check these points:
- Export a few of your decks to PowerPoint or PDF and look at whether the layout, fonts and images survive.
- If you share links for people to view online, find out how you will share and update material in the new tool.
- Check whether your brand colors, fonts and templates can be recreated.
- Decide how much you want the AI drafting. Some options leave that part to you or ask you to connect a model of your own.
- Look at the license of any images you used, and whether you need to work offline.
